We got to spend lots of time around family this holiday season since we live so much closer now. I am thankful for that.

It never ceases to amaze me how entranced Riley is by the "electro-kinetic" machines in museums. Goes back to our adage for him: "If it moves, he likes it..."

Both kids had their school Christmas parties on the same afternoon. It was a hectic afternoon, rushing from one to the other. I was late to both, but the important thing, I feel, is that I was there.
