Brad works in the architecture field. A design field. Every once in awhile his company joins a not-for-profit design competition (like Canstruction..) or has an in-office fun day competition ("Final Friday").
For the November "Final Friday" they had an in-office art show. Everyone was encouraged to participate by bringing in some form of 'art' or 'design' that they had made. According to Brad, most participants brought a picture they painted or some sort of sculpture they had made while in school.
Brad chose to use some boards he's been storing for awhile to design and build a coffee-table. I am very proud of the project! Aside from the table, he included pics of some of the things we've made for our house--his custom shelves in the garage, the entertainment center in the living room, etc.
