This meant that Riley would have a week with Dad and Mom all to himself!
The first night he enjoyed lounging with us in bed. Brad decided to let him sleep with us as a treat.
I don't think Riley knew what to think the first day or two without Meli. She is always there to play and talk to him..until this week. He acted up a bit, hid under the table and taunted me at times.
He had his meltdowns, in spite of all the extra attention he received and the goodies given to him throughout the week.. The "Ka-chow" puzzle was one of these goodies. We probably did that puzzle 15 times that week alone!
There was a day when the boys dressed alike. Brad's signature outfit for working around the house...a white tee and old jeans. And here he's is trying to sport Riley's 'cheesy-grin'. I think he should leave that to Riley :)
During our last day alone together Riley and I played outside a lot.
He found that trying to throw balls through the holes on his climbing toy was a fun game!
He also enjoyed playing the "Where's Riley?!" game. If he hides his eyes, you can't see him! Or so he thinks.. :D
Notice his latest craze? A Ka-chow backpack that he's attached to! :)
