Week 10

Are kids really comfortable hanging out in positions like this? I catch Meli like this all the time and wonder the same thing every time... On another note, I've learned that when she's upside-down, she looks more like me when I was little. :)

The morning stretches and crazy hair! Still looks cute with all the pink and flowered girliness.. That's my Meli. :)

And because this post is heavy on the Meli pics, here's one of the little guy. This must have been taken just as we were getting rid of the paci because I haven't seen one in months now!

One afternoon I noticed that the house was a bit too quiet and Meli had closed her door. I just knew there had to be trouble until I peeked into her room...and found her dead-asleep with the blanket half-dragged from her bed.

Caught my children climbing a tree for the first time... Was I afraid? Only slightly. I was much more proud of the endeavors.

My little garden helpers. They're pretty good at pulling weeds. :)

One would wonder why Riley is laughing while Meli chases him with golf clubs! This is how they show their affection...

A pic to usher in Spring.

Because I wanted to make us get outside into the beautiful sunshine, I did something I rarely do. I made an impromptu trip to the store specifically for sidewalk paint and a veggie-tray.

At the end of the week we made our way to a park so that Riley could try out his bike. He did an amazing job! Meli also got to practice on hers more. They had fun though Riley got a bit upset at times because Meli was faster than him.

While taking a break from bikes, there was a stick fight with Dad.

Dad also showed them how to climb a tree...
