Week 32

A lot of activity going on lately. It all started with our trip to SeaWorld.

Riley, Morgan, Meli and Lane moments after we entered the park and already HOT.

The aquariums were great and fascinated everyone, especially Riley.

The stingrays were my favorite part.

The sharks were fascinating, too!

Group pic. We couldn't get Riley to hang out with everyone else.

The kids had a great time in the kiddie pool area, but our favorite part (all kids and me, too!) was the wave pool. We found life-jackets for Morgan, Meli and Riley and I took them out to the 5' area. Then we shouted and laughed as the waves pulled us back and forth! I wish I could have taken pictures of that, but it's hard to take the pics and be involved in all the fun.

While walking past the kiddie-rides, Riley noticed the kids' roller-coaster and wanted so badly to ride it. He and I were very disappointed when we found that he was nowhere near tall enough. Meli was just big enough to get by. Thankfully, Riley was satisfied with climbing through these tunnels while the other kids rode the coaster. I even went through these suspended, strappy tunnel thingies with him, though I was weary every time a kid wanted to rush past me.

We finished off our day by seeing the "Shamu Rocks!" show. We made sure to be there the minute they opened the area so that we could get "splash zone" seats!

Even Mawmaw and Pepaw came down to the "splash zone" seats with us!

That's it for our SeaWorld adventure pics. Things pretty much went back to normal. :)

My little guy has become a MarioKart fan...

The kids have started playing "train" with chairs placed in a line...

Plenty of bike-rides while the weather is nice...

My newest hobby, sewing. This is the first dress I made for Meli. I made a 5, but it looked like it could fit 7-year-old Morgan..

Meli played with my camera while in the car, so now I have an idea of what the world is like from her carseat...

Aside from playing with the camera, she took time to give Riley's superheroes "seatbelts"...in her shoes. :)

This is where dolls and bears go when Riley isn't with us...

I like the way I unintentionally caught Meli in the midst of a little hop...

I found a new Michael's store and while there Meli wanted to see herself in each of the little Halloween masks she found...cameras sure are handy!
