Week 43

This new favorite toy, a pocket-volcano that I bought at the Science Museum, has been getting a lot of use. All of the kids have loved making fizzies come out of it.

I think I may be a tad to 'into' theme days at Riley's school. I've had fun sending him off in his slippers, black/red, and jammies. He's one of the few kids in his class who is dressed for them.

Pumpkin carving/painting time!

Some time at White Rock Lake.

I made a garland for Halloween out of patterned paper that I've been hoarding for a couple of years. I used my sewing machine to hold it all together and was pleased with the way it turned out.

Meli's pumpkin drawings..

I found this shirt for $1 last year, so I stashed it away for this year.. Then with my new-found love of sewing, I came across some candy-corn fabric and decided that would make an adorable skirt to go with the shirt.
