A couple of cute shots of my Meli..

A shot of my Riley trying to warm up from being out in the cold..

Put a little more creativity into gift-wrapping a couple of presents..

With a closet and a cabinet filled with (older) scrap supplies, I decided that Ali Edwards' "December Daily" project would be a great way to start using the four Christmas paper packs that I've been hoarding..yes, FOUR. Well, I finished the pre-album in plenty of time, but by the time December 1st rolled around my mind and motivation were elsewhere (I'm still trying to figure out where...). Sooo, now I am trying to decide whether to save the album to put together next year or just throw it together during January. Here are a few images:

I added the brown bags to hold miscellaneous memorabilia..

During one of Riley's school days I took Meli ice-skating. She wasn't as sure on her feet as I expected..I think she was taking advantage of the fact that I was there and would hold her hand, both literally and figuratively.

I choose the worst times/places for pictures, but I wanted to get a picture of us girls together during our fun outing.

Finished a chunk of wrapping.

Went ice-skating again, with both kids this time. Riley did a great job, practiced the little marches that Meli showed him. I made Meli skate mostly on her own so that I could help him..and wouldn't you know, this time she was dashing around the edge fearlessly. With Riley I would skate him out toward the middle and when we made it around, I would tell him to skate alone to the side gently, carefully. He made it the 5-10 feet without so much as a slip. :)

End of week, we visited the Garden of Lights when we visited Mawmaw and Pepaw.
